A lot has happened since I last wrote on my blog here… But one thing is certain, God’s unchanging love towards me. The older I get the more I appreciate His faithfulness and never-ending love!

In the summer of 2019, God brought an amazing man into my life and on April 20, 2020, we got married! Covid hit Cyprus in March of that year, so our wedding plans changed drastically as the whole country was under strict lock-down conditions.

We still wanted to get married, since we did not know when all this would end, so we went ahead and got married in an empty church with just 10 people present, including us. That was the maximum amount of people allowed to attend.

So my wedding day was nothing like I expected it to be, yet it was still special, and what mattered the most was that we had each other and we made promises in front of our few witnesses, and God, that we plan to keep for the rest of our lives.

We, later on, had a wedding reception in September of that year when the measures eased up a bit.

About a year later, on November 5th, 2021, we also welcomed our little girl into this world!

Being a wife and a mother has always been some of my deepest desires, and so to get to experience these new roles has truly been amazing and challenging at the same time! I am forever grateful that God entrusted these humans into my life! I love them both dearly and try and thank God every day for bringing them into my life.

As far as ministry goes, I continue to record programs at the radio station where I get to play Christian music and talk about the meaning of the songs. I really enjoy sharing God’s truth with people through storytelling and music!

I have also been working as a part-time teacher at a private school where I get to teach Religious Studies to, mostly, high school students! I’ve always enjoyed interacting with teenagers and I love the challenges that this position brings, along with the joy of being able to hopefully play some role in influencing their lives.

The rest of the time, I help out with my husband at the Teen Youth group, and during the summer season help and organize the summer camps.
I also continue to play the piano as part of the worship team and help out any way I can in my local church.

My prayer is that God will continue to use me as an individual, but also as a family, to serve Him and His kingdom in a world that desperately needs truth, hope, and unchanging love in their lives! May we all be an example of Christ to those around us. That is the greatest witness we can ever bear.

In Christ,
Anastasia
